All of the above. Colonist were obligated by law to maintain the needs of the British troops who were stationed in the American colonies. British navy patrols became stricter. Restrictions were placed on colonist manufactured goods and no substitutes were allowed to hold office for Royal officials. These were the conditions set on the Mutiny Act of 1765.
